my new british PB
Well sat morn about 2.30 am been in the kip a while rain hammering down left rod gave me a bleep i was out of the bag got my wet gear on just getting my other boot on and the hanger hit the rod and straight back on the deck i was out headlight on the rod tip nothing for about two min then tip twitched hanger lifted slowly,so i bent into it done a couple of runs and come straight towards me under rod tip it woke up 20 min later in the weigh sling ,it went around to 28lb mirror which was confirmed by ian who took the photos as well a big thanks to him then i had a coffee a couple of smokes and laid listning to the rain somehow i didnt mind getting soaked i must admit it was good to get a lump but i do enjoy being there its not all about catching its the place

Been away on business all week so first opportunity to upload some pictures.
Fair play to vern, worked hard for this one and was worth the wait!!!! And he stated it was 27lb and was actually a tad over 28, so i will confirm the actual weight was 28lb3oz. Top fishing mate.
Shaun, if you read this, he was using hair rigged hemp, over a bed of memory foam, fished tight lined with 4lb line and 8oz leads size 2 hooks and swam the rigs out the middle!
